Since 2014, Alexander Mosnick has served as a strategy consultant with Chicago-based Aon Inpoint Consulting, a role in which he has worked with several large clients in the insurance sector. To prepare for his career, Alexander Mosnick earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from Northwestern University.

Located in the Kellogg Global Hub on the university’s main Evanston campus and operated under the aegis of the Weinberg College of the Arts & Sciences, Northwestern’s economics department offers a range of undergraduate, graduate, and continuing education programs taught by a world-class faculty. To honor the department’s undergraduate students each year, the economic department hosts an annual luncheon and award ceremony at the end of the spring semester.
Held at the pavilion tent on the Sorority Quadrangle, the Senior Lunch occurs each year following the university’s graduation ceremonies and typically includes drinks, sandwiches, and desserts. Additionally, students and their families will have the opportunity to mingle with fellow graduates and economics faculty members.
The highlight of the event is the awards ceremony that honors graduating economics majors. The Frederick S. Deibler Awards recognize the undergraduate students who have written the best economics theses or who have otherwise performed admirably in their coursework, while the Robert Eisner Award for Undergraduate Research honors an undergraduate student who stood out for his or her economic research in the field of public policy.
